WORKSHOP Prospectus
WORKSHOPS IN FOUND OBJECT ASSEMBLAGE
Fay wood is exploring the possibility of holding workshops for adults during the year...
the first to be a basic workshop showing the methods used in her work and finding the design
possibilities with hands-on application using the objects brought to the class by the student.
Seeing, thinking ,and talking about the application and inspiration gained from looking at the examples of Wood's work in the studio will be a major part of the workshop. We will be developing a lively sense of movement, color , texture ,and sense of space in a small piece of work.
The first workshop will be held NOVEMBER 18, 2012 at Wood's studio in Saugerties,N.Y.
Please Email (info@faywoodstudio.com) or phone 845 246 7504 for details.
The Saugerties area has a wide range of accomodation ,from bed /breakfasts, motels,
to a five star new hotel, if you are coming from a distance.

Affiliation with Artsia
I am very fortunate to have my work represented by the Society of International Artists
new website, ARTSIA.com, an online gallery of fine art for sale in an easily accessible manner.
ARTSIA is a highly international organization whose purpose is to seek out, support and promote
great contemporary art and make this available online to the international art-buying public.
For further information, please visit www.Artsia.com , www.artsia.com/faywood, or follow Artsia on
Facebook, https:/www.facebook.com/pages/Artsiadotcom.
I think the art shown on the site is exceptional ; it has been curated by the site's curatorial
team, led by Catherine Higgs, London, U.K., Colin Mansell, Vancouver,B.C., and Lindsay Davis, N.Y.C.
who have chosen exceptional work in painting, drawing and sculpture, and I am very pleased to be
a part of the group.
